Denver Center for the Performing Arts (free performances)

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts in Denver downtown offers free performances throughout the year. This is an excellent deal as shows are often quite expensive. 

Location:
All free performances take place in the Performing Arts Complex in the theater district in downtown Denver, along 14th Street near Curtis Street.

The free ticket system has been completely revised for the 2010 season. Instead of specific free days where you wait in line for limited free tickets, they now use an online lottery system. You complete an online lottery application and you will be notified whenever tickets are available for you. At that point you can either decline or accept the tickets.
