Clear Creek History Park, Golden (always free)

Clear Creek History Park in downtown Golden is now free to walk through, sunrise to sunset every day. This means they are now listed among our featured free Colorado attractions. The building are only open during certain events, but you can walk through the community at any time to gain a glimpse of early pioneer life as the rockies were settled.

Location:
This park is located in downtown Golden behind the Golden Hotel, across the creek from Lion's park.

The entire Lion's park area is buzzing with activity during the summer, with kayakers and tubing, sunbathers, a huge playground for the kids, and ball fields. Be sure to check it out.
